The protection of your personal data is important to us. Therefore, we process your data solely in accordance with legal provisions (GDPR, Austrian Telecommunications Act 2003). In the following data protection statement, we aim to inform you of the most important aspects of how we handle your data on our website.

Contacting us

If you get in touch via the contact form on our website or via e-mail, your details will be stored for the purpose of addressing your query and any follow-up or further questions for six months. We will not pass on these details without your prior consent.

Data retention

Please note that in order to simplify the purchasing process and later for the performance of the purchase agreement contract with the online shop operator, we use cookies to save the IP address information of the user, as well as the name, address and payment card number of the customer.

Additionally, for the purpose of purchase agreement processing, we also save data regarding languages and language levels as specified by the customer. The data you provide is required for the creation and fulfilment of contract. Without this data, we cannot enter into a contract with you. This data will not be passed on to third parties, with the exception of forwarding payment card details to the processing bank institution/ payment service provider for the purpose of debiting the price of the purchase, to the shipping company we employ to deliver our products and to our tax advisor in order to comply with tax obligations.

In the event of cancellation during the purchasing process, we will delete all stored data. In the event of a contract being entered, all data from the contractual relationship will be retained until the lapse of the safekeeping period under tax legislation (7 years).

Further to this, your name, address, purchased goods and date of purchase data will be retained until the period of product liability (10 years) has lapsed. Data will be processed according to the legal provisions of § 96 Paragraph 3 of the Austrian Telecommunications Act as well as those of Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for the fulfilment of contract) of the GDPR.


Our website uses what are known as “cookies”. These are small text files that are saved onto your device via the browser. They are not harmful to your device.

This information will be transferred to and stored on the server of the provider (GoogleAnalytics, ShopifyAnalytics).

We have a contract with the provider regarding the processing of this data.

Your IP address will be recorded, however it will be immediately pseudonymised (e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits). This way, your IP address location cannot be specifically pinpointed and is rather only roughly identifiable. The relationship to the web analytics provider is based on the “Privacy Shield”.

Data is processed according to the legal provisions of § 96 Paragraph 3 of the Austrian Telecommunications Act as well as those of Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.

Our legitimate interest in the context of GDPR is the improvement of our services and of our web presence. As the privacy of our users is important to us, all user data is pseudonymised.

User data is retained for the duration of 1 month.


You have the option of subscribing to our newsletter via our website. For this, we need your e-mail address and a declaration of your consent to us sending the newsletter.

To provide you with targeted information, we gather and process details you provide voluntarily about areas of interest, birthday and post code as well as language preferences.

As soon as you have subscribed to the newsletter, we will send a confirmation e-mail with a link for you to confirm your subscription.

Your rights

You have fundamental rights regarding data access, rectification, portability and erasure as well as regarding the restriction of and objection to data processing. In Austria, this is the Datenschutzbehörde (the Data Protection Authority).
